John works as a gestalt therapist in London, UK. He has an MA in Gestalt Psychotherapy from London Metropolitan University. John has a twenty year history of navigating BDSM relationships, and brings his experience to supporting kinky people. He provides individual therapy internationally, and runs groups for gay men into BDSM and kink. John has a strong interest in how our sexual yearnings are expressive of wider personal themes and dilemmas that shape how we show up in the world. He is co-editor of “Queering Gestalt Therapy” (2023), founder of Something Different Therapy Community, and author of forthcoming “Therapy for Perverts, Weirdos and Crazy Cat People”.
